This column was perfect timing Jack! I went to my first rodeo (yes, it *was* my first rodeo) over the weekend in Evergreen, Colorado. A few of us went to support a friend who rides on the drill team that opens the rodeo. I was really impressed by the pickup riders, and the barrel man for the event (they called him the Grand Marshal) was a gent named Kevin Higley. Thanks for sharing your memories, and the perspective of a clown!
